Creative Avenue Markets
On Pause Until 2026

Here for creatives. Here for community.

A note from Amelia: “We knew it would be a challenge to organize 2025 markets with a relatively late-in-the-year start. With most markets in our region taking applications in the winter, many folks were already committed to other events by the time we began seeking vendors. Our desire is to hold events that will be a positive experience for both vendors and attendees. With minimal response to our calls for vendors, we have chosen to press pause and not hold markets this year, rather than force something and end up with lackluster events. We are grateful to everyone who expressed interest in vending with us in 2025. You can expect to see our vendor application open in January for the 2026 season.”

Bringing together the best of creativity from Anacortes and the Pacific Northwest. Painting, felting, pottery, block printing, jewelry, and more… if you have a unique, handmade art, craft, food or beverage product to share, we want to work with you!

Our Creative Avenue Markets build on the relationships and momentum that Frannie Bigge, owner of The Creative Hub in downtown Anacortes, has built with the local creative community over the past five years. Frannie remains involved by providing the Creative Avenue venue, while Amelia Kaiser takes the lead as Market Manager. Amelia is a local artist and nonprofit professional who brings 14 years experience in marketing, administration and events to Creative Avenue Markets.

More than a place to sell things.

It is our hope that Creative Avenue Markets are a high point of the year for our vendors. We want you to sell lots of amazing work! But we also aim for Creative Avenue to be a place where you meet like-minded souls, form lasting friendships, and build a network of support with fellow creatives. This isn’t a place to “compete” with the seller next door. This is a place for those who understand that a rising tide lifts all ships, and want to support our local makers’ community, as a whole. We’d love to have you join us.

“[Art] is a means of union among men, joining them together in the same feelings, and indispensable for the life and progress toward well-being of individuals and of humanity.”
