The Skagit Studios: A space for creativity and community.
The Studio Space:

The Skagit Studios offers 850 square feet of shared creative space, including a small lounge, kitchenette, and restroom. There are spaces dedicated to spreading out a mixed media project, working at an easel, or settling into a private desk station.
Located in the old Lido Theater Building in vibrant, downtown Mount Vernon, right next door to the Skagit Valley Food Co-Op. Accessed from the back of the building,
Each studio member receives their own set of keys to be able access the studio 24/7. Free parking is conveniently located in the lot behind the building and surrounding blocks.

Local artist Amelia Kaiser opened The Skagit Studios to offer fellow creatives in Skagit County affordable space to pursue their creative practice. She is passionate about creativity and community, and envisions The Skagit Studios as a space for artists to both work and socialize. She hopes to see studio members making connections in the Skagit arts scene and downtown Mount Vernon community.
Amelia is in studio two or three days per week. Her art practice includes watercolor and acrylic painting, murals, plein air painting and nature journaling.
